Patient Acceptance

Smiles of Glenview is currently welcoming new patients. As a small, personally-run practice, we maintain a limited patient roster to ensure every patient receives the time and attention they deserve. We reserve the right to manage our patient capacity accordingly.

Appointments

We do our best to run on time and respect your schedule. To help us do that, we ask that you arrive a few minutes early for your appointment, particularly for your first visit, to allow time for any necessary paperwork.

Appointment reminders are sent by phone or text in advance of your visit. While we make every effort to reach you, it remains your responsibility to keep track of scheduled appointments.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We understand that life happens and schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours notice so we can offer that time to another patient.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed without notice, are subject to a $50 fee. This fee is not covered by insurance and is the patient's responsibility.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to schedule future appointments at our practice.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, and Zelle at no additional charge. For the convenience of credit card payments, a 3% processing fee applies. This allows us to keep our treatment fees stable without passing costs into our standard pricing.

We are happy to walk you through payment options at your visit.

Insurance

We participate in a number of major dental insurance plans and will work with your carrier to maximize your benefits. For a full list of accepted plans and additional insurance information, please visit our Insurance page.

For plans we do not participate in directly, we are happy to process claims as an out-of-network provider.

Pre-Treatment Estimates

Before beginning any significant treatment, we can submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance carrier on your behalf. This gives you a clear picture of your expected out-of-pocket costs before committing to anything. If you would like an estimate prior to treatment, please let us know and we will take care of it.

Emergency and Same-Day Visits

We make every effort to accommodate patients experiencing dental pain or urgent concerns. Same-day appointments are subject to availability. Please call us as early in the day as possible so we can do our best to see you promptly.

Patient Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for every patient and staff member. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue care for any individual whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful toward our team or other patients.
